Winter After School Clubs – Registration Now Open!

Hello Carlin Springs families, Registration for Winter After School Clubs opens on Monday, December 8, 2025. This season, we are excited to offer clubs for Kindergarten through 5th grade. Space in each club is limited, so be sure to register early! Important Registration Information

  • Registration will take place online only (no paper forms).
  • The registration links will be sent out Monday at 6:00 a.m.
  • Clubs run from Tuesday, January 20 to Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 2:40–4:30 p.m.
  • All clubs are FREE.
  • Families will receive a confirmation email the week of January 12.
  • All clubs take place in-person at Carlin Springs.
  • Snacks provided.
  • Students who are eligible may ride the Late Bus at 4:30 p.m.
  • Clubs will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
  • Please tell us your child’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice so we can enroll them in at least one club.

Kindergarten Options

Art Club (Kindergarten & 1st grade) – Mondays

Calling all artists! This club will be facilitated by staff from the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington (MOCA). Students will create projects using two- and three-dimensional media while exploring line, color, shape, texture, space, and form. Activities will be inspired by both observation and imagination.

Acting Club (Kindergarten & 1st grade) – Mondays

Ever wonder what it takes to be an actor? Let ETC introduce your child to the tools of the stage! Students will learn to create characters through vocal technique and movement. With improvisation, scene creation, and acting exercises, they will build teamwork and confidence.

1st Grade Options

Students will participate in an interactive experience that introduces the basic fundamentals of golf. They will learn rules, scoring, motor skills, and the core values of the sport in a supportive environment.

Passport to Languages Club (1st–3rd grade) – Tuesdays

Pack your bags and get ready for adventures! Students will explore French, Portuguese, Chinese, and Spanish through games, songs, stories, and hands-on activities. Each week brings a new cultural experience—no real passport required!

Baking Club (1st & 2nd grade) – Thursdays

There is never a time to say no to fresh baked treats! Each week, children will make something delicious—from pies and breads to cupcakes and biscuits. They are sure to discover new favorites!

2nd Grade Options

Golf Club (1st & 2nd grade) – Mondays

Students will participate in an interactive experience that introduces the basic fundamentals of golf. They will learn rules, scoring, motor skills, and the core values of the sport in a supportive environment.

On Stage Drama Club (2nd–5th grade) – Tuesdays & Thursdays

Students must attend both days. Students will learn the basics of playwriting, casting, and performing. They will use their voices, bodies, and imaginations to bring stories to life. Together, they will write an original play and perform it for families and friends.

4th & 5th Grade Options
