What is the PTA?
The Carlin Springs Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a group of parent & family, school faculty & administrators, and community member volunteers. The PTA supports our students’ academic excellence and social emotional learning, builds and strengthens our school community, and advocates on behalf of our staff and students.
What does the PTA Do?
The PTA supports academic and social learning at Carlin Springs by:
- Fundraising to provide teachers with extra money for books, school supplies, field trips, and technology.
- Identifying grant opportunities for teachers and administrators to fund more resources.
- Strengthening the Carlin Springs community, both inside and outside the classroom through school-organized activities that enhance student resources and build school spirit. Examples of recent activities include back-to-school socials, family dances, game and movie nights, International Night, among others
- Supporting our amazing school administrators, teachers and staff through PTA-organizedteacher appreciation events.
