Meet our Professional School Counselors

Megan Grasso

Hi!  I’m Megan Grasso and I am a full-time professional school counselor at Carlin Springs.  This is my seventh year as a school counselor and third year in Arlington Public Schools and Carlin Springs.  Before coming to Arlington Public Schools, I was a school counselor in Fairfax County Public Schools for four year.  Prior to becoming a school counselor, I was a special education teacher for three years in DC Public Schools.    After teaching, I earned my Masters in School Counseling from George Washington University in 2014.  I hold a Virginia license in School Counseling and I am a member of the American School Counselor Association.  I grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Arlington in 2009 where I currently live with my husband, son and dog.    Throughout the year, I will be providing counseling lessons to students in grades Kindergarten, Second and Fourth.  I will also run small counseling groups and meet with individual students as needed.  I am excited to be part of the Carlin Springs community and look forward to getting to know our students and families.  Please feel free to reach out should you have any questions.  During distance learning, I can be reached through email (megan.grasso@apsva.us).
