Allison Rivera, School Counselor
Hello families, I am Allison Rivera and I will be the full-time counselor at Carlin Springs this school year. I am incredibly excited to begin this new school year. I will teach classroom counseling lessons to students in grades K, 1st, and 2nd, in addition to individual and small group counseling. I also speak Spanish. Donna Berry, School Counselor
Hello families, my name is Donna Berry. I am the part-time counselor at Carlin Springs (Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays). I will teach classroom counseling lessons to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students, as well as individual and small group counseling. I look forward to working with the students and families at Carlin Springs. If you have any questions, please let me know.
What we offer
Classroom Counseling Lessons
Students in K-5, will receive counseling lessons twice a month on topics such as problem-solving, bullying prevention, identifying emotions, etc.
Individual & Small Group Counseling
Individual short term one-on-one counseling is offered with parent consent. Small group short-term group counseling is offered with parent consent.
Lunch Bunches
Students may participate in small groups during their lunch time, with the counselor. Lunch bunch groups will be formed based on needs such as social skills building including: cooperation, collaboration, and communicating with peers. **if you prefer your child does not participate in a lunch bunch, please let us know**
