1st Grade

Hi, I am Mrs. Murray! I have been a teacher for 6 years and have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 1st grade. I earned a Masters degree in Elementary Education and graduated from West Virginia University, let's go Mountaineers! I love working with kids, their curiosity, creativity, and positive energy is something I enjoy being around. My hobbies include, traveling, spending time with family, and watching Netflix!

Hello! My name is Carissa Sampson and I’m a first grade teacher here at Carlin Springs. I absolutely love teaching young children, and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I have a masters degree in early childhood education, and taught English as a second language in Mexico for nine years. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside, practicing yoga, painting, cooking, and reading.
